National costume of Brunei 




              Bruneians wear traditional Malay costumes. Men wear baju Melayu.  Brunei women dress in brightly coloured apparels. The dresses usually cover their body from head to toe. They wear a head scarf in public places and in government offices.
             The men's clothing is called Baju Melayu and the women's clothing is Baju Kurung, similar to the Malaysian national costume. Brunei women dress in bright colors, usually in clothes. Covering the body from head to toe The men are dressed in long-sleeved shirts. The shirt is knee-length. Wear long pants and wear a sarong.

Wear a short-sleeved shirt raised above the shoulder like a butterfly wing called balintawak.
